Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy FAQ 

Q:  How can I tell if a part number is covered by the FiTech Fuel Injection MAP policy? 

A:  A complete list of all part numbers covered by the FiTech Fuel Injection MAP policy can be found on the following websites:  ChannelSync.com

Q:   What happens if I receive a notice of a MAP violation? 

 A:  For your first violation, a written warning of the violation(s) will be given by our MAP Monitoring team.  You will have two business days to comply before it is considred       a second infraction.

Q:    How many infractions am I allowed? 

 1^st Infraction:

• • A written warning of the violation(s) will be given by our MAP monitoring team. The reseller will have two business days to comply before it is considered a second infraction.

 2^nd Infraction:

• • Dealer: Forfeiture of all Promotional Funds for six months (for all sales Promotional Funds due during the six months period beginning with the month of infraction) and the use of FiTech Fuel Injection’s imagery and all Intellectual Property. The Dealer will have two business days to comply before it is considered a third infraction.

  3^rd Infraction:

• • Wholesale Dealer: Elimination from the Wholesale Dealer and program benefits for two years from the third violation date (if violated by the Dealer).
  • Authorized Reseller: Suspension of product shipment (from Dealer to Reseller) and Reseller placed on “Do Not Sell List” for two years from the third violation date.
  • If a Retail Dealer is caught selling to a Reseller on the “Do Not Sell List”, the Retail Dealer will be subject to suspension of FiTech Fuel Injection product shipment (from FiTech Fuel Injection to Retail Dealer) for two years from the date of violation.

Q:    Will FiTech Fuel Injection take additional actions in regard to MAP violations? 

 A:  Yes.  FiTech Fuel Injection reserves its right to take additional actions up to and including termination of our relations with your company.

Q:    May I appeal FiTech Fuel Injection’s decision regarding a policy violation? 

 A:  No.

Q:    Can I submit my ads in advance to be approved for Policy compliance: 

 A:  Although FiTech Fuel Injection’s representatives may review ads for a variety of reasons, FiTech Fuel Injection does not approve ads for policy compliance.  Each distributor is solely responsible for an ad’s compliance with this policy.

Q:    How will I be notified of a FiTech Fuel Injection MAP policy violation? 

  A:  All violation notifications will be emailed from enforcement@mapservicescorp.com to ensure the email updates are delivered to your inbox, please add enforcement@mapservicescorp.com to your email Address Book.

Q:    Is there a recommended Internet platform for viewing the FiTech Fuel Injection MAPpolicy and accessing the Authorized Reseller agreement at     ChannelSync.com? 

A:   Foxfire and chrome are recommended.  Internet Explorer is not recommended.
